Terms & Conditions

Prompt Side Actors’ Collective – Terms & Conditions

1. By registering for any course, class, workshop, or session with Prompt Side

Actors’ Collective, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed

to the following terms and conditions. Your enrolment and participation serve as

your acceptance of these terms.

2. General Agreement

a. These terms form a binding agreement between Prompt Side Actors’

Collective (“Prompt Side”) and the participant (“Client” or “Student”).

b. If the participant is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must complete

the registration on their behalf and agrees to these terms.

3. Fees & Payment Terms

a. All course fees for classes must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to the

first class unless otherwise arranged.

b. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure a place in any course or

workshop.

c. Private coaching sessions must be paid in full at the time of booking

unless otherwise agreed.

d. Participation in any class is conditional upon full payment being received

by the due date.

 

4. Payment Methods

a. Payments must be made in Australian dollars by bank transfer, or other

methods approved by Prompt Side.

5. Cancellations & Refund Policy

a. We understand that life can be unpredictable, but due to the small and

intensive nature of our classes, cancellations impact our ability to run

programs.

b. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

c. If you cancel within 7 days, you will be credited the fee for future use. Not

including the deposit.

d. If you cancel within 48 hours, no refund or credit will be issued.

e. Any credits offered are subject to availability and do not guarantee a spot

in the next course unless space permits.f. We do not offer refunds for missed classes, illness, or change of mind.

Exceptions may be made in extreme circumstances and are entirely at the

discretion of Prompt Side.

6. Transfers & Make-Up Policy

a. Transfers to another course or date will not be offered for cancellations

made within 48 hours.

b. For cancellations within 7 days, a credit may be issued and used toward a

future class, subject to availability. Not including the deposit.

c. Any missed class cannot be transferred or credited unless prior

arrangements are made.

7. Program & Schedule Changes

a. Prompt Side reserves the right to change course dates, times, instructors,

or content due to unforeseen circumstances.

b. In the rare event a class or session is cancelled by Prompt Side, a

replacement session will be organised or full refund of the missed class

only, will be offered.

 

8. Student Conduct

a. All students are expected to behave in a respectful, professional manner

toward peers and facilitators.

b. Phones must be on silent or airplane mode and not used during class

unless agreed upon beforehand.

c. Students MUST not damage Prompt Side’s resources, equipment or

premises and will be held responsible for any damages incurred through

wilful or negligent action.

d. Prompt Side reserves the right to:

i. Refuse or withdraw enrolment at its discretion, including for

disruptive, inappropriate or unsafe behaviour without refund.

ii. Alter or cancel a course in part or in full at any time if necessary.

9. Limitation of Liability & Injury

a. Students participate in classes and activities at their own risk.

b. Prompt Side is not responsible for injury, illness, or loss/damage to

personal property incurred during class or travel to/from class.

c. Students are encouraged to maintain their own personal health, travel, or

accident insurance.

 

10. Image & Media Ownership

a. Prompt Side retains full ownership of all media captured during its

training programs, including but not limited to photos, audio, and edited/

or unedited video recorded during classes or workshops.

b. Prompt Side may use this content (unless, waivered or requested by the

parent or student) for promotional and educational purposes, including

but not limited to:

i. Website material

ii. Social media platforms

iii. Reels, clips, or promotional videos

iv. Email campaigns

v. Digital and print marketing

vi. Industry presentations or educational content

c. By signing this agreement, the participant waives any right to claim

compensation, residuals, or royalties for any use of their image, likeness,

or recorded performance in accordance with these terms.

d. The resale or third-party distribution of media is prohibited unless

explicitly negotiated with Prompt Side.

11. Student Use of Footage

a. Students may use the footage provided to them for personal promotion,

including showreels, casting profiles, websites, and social media.

b. Students may edit the provided footage as needed, provided it reflects

Prompt Side in a respectful and professional manner and is not

defamatory, misleading, or damaging to the studio’s reputation. When

posting content created by Prompt Side or a subcontracted professional,

appropriate credit should be given.

12. Limitations of Use & Policy Updates

a. Prompt Side Actors’ Collective reserves the right to update, revise, or

modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be

posted on our website.

b. It is the responsibility of students and users to review our website

periodically and remain informed of any updates to these terms.

c. If Prompt Side makes a formal request for you to cease use of certain

materials (including but not limited to course content, digital media, or

website information), or to return or delete content provided to you, you must comply immediately and confirm in writing within 5 business days

that the request has been fulfilled.

13. Promotional Use – Opt-Out Option

a. If you do not wish for your image to appear on Prompt Side’s website,

social media, or email communications at all, you understand you must

inform us in writing before commencement of each course or training

program. By opting out, PSAC will take reasonable steps to exclude you

from published content.

14. Consent & Acknowledgement

a. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not proceed

with enrolment. By submitting your registration and payment, you confirm

your acceptance and understand you are legally bound by these terms

and conditions.
