Our Intro to Film Acting Technique course is designed for aspiring actors who are ready to take their first serious step into the craft or for those who’ve done a few classes but want a deeper, more structured foundation. Across six weeks, you’ll be introduced to the proven acting methodology of Howard Fine and Uta Hagen, techniques used by working actors around the world to deliver truthful, connected performances. You’ll get up on your feet early, working on scenes in front of the camera each week to build confidence and put the work into practice.
This is not a theatre-based class. We focus on screen acting, self-taping, and the practical demands of working on set. It’s a supportive space designed to help you understand the 'why' behind your choices, break down a script with clarity, and begin creating performances that are emotionally grounded and technically sharp.
